Jana Dukátová (SVK) was waiting with a suspense. Her runs wasn't very good and in the end of the semifinal she was close to eleventh place, that wouldn't be enough for getting into the final. Unfortunately, Czech kayakers helped her to take part in the final due to many mistakes they made. Thus, she ended up on the ninth place with a time 107.54.

Czech competitors Štěpánka Hilgertová and Irena Pavelková, who ruled the heats, made 3 touches so they were awarded by six seconds penalty. Not even Kateřina Kudějová and Eva Ornstová did not get through the semifinal. Therefore, no Czech competitor will take part in the K1W final.
