ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague – Troja: Ticket Sales Now Open!
Jiří Prskavec, Lukáš Rohan, Antonie Galušková, Gabriela Satková – names that resonate with every true sports fan. After an Olympic year, Czech canoe slalom athletes are once again aiming for top international medals, and the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague – Troja is set to be one of the season’s highlights. One week before the start of the Czech national team trials on Trnávka, ticket sales officially begin. This year, tickets will be available exclusively online.
Thanks to its long-standing experience hosting top-level international events and the electric atmosphere created by enthusiastic fans, Prague-Troja has once again been selected as an ideal venue for a World Cup race.
"Hosting such events attracts new fans and children to the sport, motivates local athletes, and helps promote not only the sport itself but also the athletes and their partners," says Jiří Rohan, head of the Prague World Cup Organizing Committee.
New for 2025: Short Slalom Format
The main novelty of this year’s World Cup is the introduction of a new race format – the short slalom, which will take place on Friday. The course will last approximately 60 seconds with about 12 gates. The discipline is already being considered for inclusion in the World Championships as early as next year. Just like kayak cross, which offers medals both for individual runs and head-to-head racing, short slalom provides another opportunity to win two medals in slalom events.
Online Tickets Only
Ticket sales start on April 17 at 17:00 (CET) and will be available exclusively online in digital form.
"There will be no on-site ticket office this year, so we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Special offers will be available for families, students, and groups," Rohan explains.

Looking Ahead
Prague is set to continue hosting the Canoe Slalom World Cup in the years to come. The organizing team has already successfully bid for the 2026 edition.
"We would also like to move forward with the project to build a brand-new slalom course, where we could potentially host European or World Championships in the future," adds Rohan.
Spectators can look forward to an unforgettable experience and a unique atmosphere right by the water, just steps away from the athletes. Come and support both Czech and international stars – who knows, you might witness another golden run from one of our top paddlers!
