The World Cup has already been started

The World Cup began with the qualiciation of category C1 women. The best time in the first run 105, 57s reached only sixteen years old Australian paddler Jaeesica Fox. The race has been continuing with the category C1 men and C2 men. The second run of these categories will be hold in the morning as well.

The heavy rain, which organizing committee was worrying about, has already stopped. According to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute the water level of Vltava river has not reached the first level of flood activity (according to the station in Malá Chuchle). The water level can be watched on our web pages ( right down corner).

The European Championships, which should have been hold in Bratislava two weeks ago, was cancelled because of floods. At first the organizing committee tried to postpone the race, but at the end they were forced to cancelled it.
