The second heats of K1W didn't change the first position
The leading time 97.39 achieved by Ireny Pavelkové (CZE) from the first heats wasn't overcome in the second heats. Melanie Pfeifer (GER), third after the first qualification races, displaced Štěpánka Hilgertová (CZE) to the third position, as she improved to 98.28 in the latter half of the qualification. On the contrary, Štěpánka Hilgertová was a bit slower, altogether with two touches it was 104.47 in the second race for her. Claudia Baer (GER) established herself as the fourth fastest woman kayaker in the qualification by not going over 100 seconds (99.44). Then there's a favoured Jana Dukátová (SVK) on the fifth position with a time from her first heat 100.25.

Elizabeth Neave (GB) lost her participation in semifinal quite tightly, her time 105.51 was enough just for the 31.position.
Thirty women semifinalists will compete for the participation in finals on Sunday morning.
When it comes to other Czech participants, Eva Ornstová didn't perform as good race as previously, she skipped one gate. She's currently occupying the 16th position. Conversely, Kateřina Kudějová placed herself onto the seventh position by the time 100.70.
