Hošková faultless even in semifinal

Kateřina Hošková (CZE) performed a perfect run in single canoes women semifinal, by which she definitely confirmed her leader position she gained after heats. Even though she slowed down in the finishing straight, her time was undoubtedly the best (121.84). The second fastest time 125.47 belongs to British canoeist Mallory Franklin, the third position holds Qianqian Teng (CHN), who was only one tenth slower than Franklin.

Surprisingly, the second woman from the heats, Mira Louen (GER), will not take part in the final as she missed one gate she lost a chance for being in the proper position for the final. Nanquin Cen (CHN) went badly today as well.

Czech canoeists Anna Kašparová and Monika Jančová also did not get into the final, so Hošková will be the only Czech competitor in the final runs.
