Czechs dominated the first-ever qualification kayak cross in Prague
The program of this year's ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague - Troja started with qualifications in the latest discipline kayak cross on Thursday, which made its debut in the World Cup on this June in Italy, Ivrea.
In the male category we saw thirty-nine kayakers, including three Czech representatives Vavrinec Hradilek, Ondrej Tunka and Vit Přindiš. from sixteen female paddlers there appeared eight Czech names - Monika Jančová, Kateřina Hošková, Martina Satková, Kateřina Dušková Eva Říhová, Pavlina Zástěrová, Amelia Hilgertová and Veronika Vojtová.
The qualification key was simple - to ride a gatelless track as quickly as possible, which was best managed by Vavrinec Hradilek (54.36) and Veronika Vojtová (58.33). All eleven qualified Czech representatives to the semifinals. An attractive event on the World Cup program returns again on Saturday.
