Two Czech doubles in the finals

First clear run of the semifinals presented Chinese tandem Hongmin Yu and Jin Chen. Starting right after, Pierre Picco and Hugo Biso from France beated their time by 1,7s. First of three Czech doubles Tomas Koplik and Jakub Vrzan set the new leading time 112,93 and it was not beated till the end.

ICF ranking leading duo and bronze medallist from Rio, Gauttier Klauss and Matthieu Peche recorded 2s penalization and qualified from the 3^rd place. Unlucky from the Rio Olympics Kaspar and Sindelar missed the gate 21 and had to paddle up the stream to get back which cost them position in the finals.

Last Czech crew Karlovsky and Jane performed a clear ride and qualified without any troubles as well as the Olympic gold medallist cousins Skantars, winners from the qualification who did not move the Czechs from the first place but qualified from the 4^th place.
