The afternoon program of the first competition day of the opening part of the ICF World Cup in Prague - Troja 2022 continued with C1 races. All Czech boats in both categories advanced to Sunday's semi-finals, the qualifiers were won by the Czech Gabriela Satková and a Pole Kacper Sztuba.

The first races of the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup 2022 started on the Friday morning 10 June. The first stop of this year's series was the artificial canoe slalom course in Prague - Troja. The first day of the competition traditionally started with qualifying races. The competition was started by kayakers.

The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup starts the entire series of ICF events on Friday, June 10 at 9 am with qualifications for all categories of competitors (kayak, canoe). The day before the start of the 2022 ICF World Cup in Prague - Troja, the Czech stars met with media representatives at a press conference at the Jalta Hotel on Thursday, June 9. The director of the organizing committee, Jiří Rohan, and the chairman of the Czech Canoeists' Association, Jan Boháč, described the backstage and the details of the organizing of the major international event. The current mood in the team was described by the head coach Jiří Prskavec senior and the chairman of the wild water section Stanislav Ježek. Jiří Prskavec, Vít Přindiš, Tereza Fišerová, Gabriela Satková and Lukáš Rohan took part as the competitors representatives.

After a two-year break, a ceremony reception was held at the residence of the Mayor of the Capital City of Prague on the occasion of the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup 2022. The starting numbers were distributed, for example, to the Olympic champion Jiří Prskavec, the silver Olympic medallist Lukáš Rohan or the reigning world champion Václav Chaloupka, as well as foreign stars like Jessica Fox, Mallory Franklin and Benjamin Savšek.

Prague has always been a great organiser and innovator on the World Cup tour. This year will not be an exception. The organisers are partnering with the leading Czech non-profit organisation and public radio in the project of helping visually impaired and blind people.

The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague - Troja is expecting a great field to start. From 10 to 12 June 2022, in addition to the strong Czech team led by the Olympic winner Jiří Prskavec, a whole constellation of foreign stars will present themselves in Troja. According to closed applications, a total of 382 ships from 37 countries and 5 continents will start.

The best invitation to the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague – Troja (10 – 12 June 2022) is the traditional Paddleride. This year, the paddlers start from the boathouse in Troja this Sunday 5 June.

In two weeks, one of the most popular sports events of the year will break out in Prague - Troja - the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup (June 10 - 12, 2022). The organising team, led by the two-time Olympic medalist Jiří Rohan, invites all sports fans and families to support not only Czech representatives on the start of the carousel of the ICF events. There will be a complete Czech national team at the start, led by the Olympic winner Jiří Prskavec and the silver medalist from Tokyo Lukáš Rohan.

On Sunday, 15 May 2022, the 4th Canoe Slalom Czech Cup of the ČEZ Group in Prague-Troja decided on a new composition of the Czech national team in canoe slalom. Tereza Fišerová will be the first paddler in the Czech colors on both canoe and kayak. Vít Přindiš and Ondřej Tunka won a place among the kayakers next to Jiří Prskavec. The only place among canoeists belongs to the favorite Vojtěch Heger.
