We would like to invite all guests, participants and visitors of ICF Canoe/Kayak Slalom Racing World Championships 2006 to attend the Opening ceremony holding on Tuesday August 1st 2006 at 20:30 at Krizik’s fountain being situated at Exhibition area Prague – Holesovice.
The entry to the ceremony is possible for holders of 4-day passes, accredited participants and invited partners and guests of World Championships.
However, in case that you are not a member of above mentioned groups and if you wish to attend the ceremony, print your own  Ticket for free.

We started to sale tickets on-line. Buy your own ticket on-line and print it on your own printer at home! Easy and secure!

Water on slalom course in Troja is going down but the lowest third is still flooded.
The weather this week is great and last week the new part of the boathouse was opened, so you are welcome to new restaurant or if you still don't have accommodation there are couple new rooms ready for you.

 This week in the Czech Republic was very rainy and it causes the trojan course to be flooded again. River Vltava reached yesterday "State of Alert" (1. level of flood emergency), but now the water level is comming down. In the next week only the first third of the slalom course will  availible for training. You can see up-to-date water level information on this site.

The organizers of the World Championship in white water slalom, which will take place in Prague Troja from 2nd to 6th August 2006, are sad again. The water level is again very high after the rainy waether.
