The fans and also the foreign competitors cannot imagine the atmosphere of the event without the popular mascot. But who is hidden in the lion´s fur? World Cup in Prague sets the high level. Press conference

tk stulOn Thursday 15 June, the official press conference of the first ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup this year started in the morning. The president of the Czech Canoe Union Jan Boháč was present as well as the president of the organising committee Jiří Rohan. From the competitors, Jiří Prskavec, Vavřinec Hradilek, Vítězslav Gebas with Tereza Fišerová and the Slovak canoeists Alexander Slafkovský took part.

On Thursday, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague starts

 DSC9737Are you ready? Already this Thursday (15 June), the first from the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup series 2017 starts in Prague. For the first time in this year, the complete world class will perform at the artificial canoe slalom course in Troja. The event is held under the auspices of the Mayor of Prague Adriana Krnáčová who will welcome the participants from 36 countries. The Rio Olympic and European medallists will not be missing – Corinna Kuhnle of Austria or Alexander Slafkovský of Slovakia will compete too.

The youngest dominated 5th edition of ČEZ Prague Riverside Cross

riverside2Unique sport event ČEZ Prague Riverside Cross came again to Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague where the first World Cup of this season is taking place by the end of this weekend. Sunny weather attracted many fans that came to support the best canoeist and kayakers of today who competed in unusual combination of canoe slalom and biathlon shooting from laser guns.
