On Thursday, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague starts

 DSC9737Are you ready? Already this Thursday (15 June), the first from the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup series 2017 starts in Prague. For the first time in this year, the complete world class will perform at the artificial canoe slalom course in Troja. The event is held under the auspices of the Mayor of Prague Adriana Krnáčová who will welcome the participants from 36 countries. The Rio Olympic and European medallists will not be missing – Corinna Kuhnle of Austria or Alexander Slafkovský of Slovakia will compete too.

The youngest dominated 5th edition of ČEZ Prague Riverside Cross

riverside2Unique sport event ČEZ Prague Riverside Cross came again to Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague where the first World Cup of this season is taking place by the end of this weekend. Sunny weather attracted many fans that came to support the best canoeist and kayakers of today who competed in unusual combination of canoe slalom and biathlon shooting from laser guns.

The C2 paddlers Ondřej Karlovský and Jakub Jáně managed to crown this year´s Czech selection race at Trnávka and they await the medal fights at the European championships in Tacen, Slovenia. New names in the Czech team

hilgertovaASunday´s (14 May) competitions within the 4th Czech Cup on the Trnávka River decided about the final picture of the Czech canoe slalom team for the 2017 season. Especially young paddlers surprised with good performances. Well-known stars like Štěpánka Hilgertová and Vavřinec Hradilek were however out of the selection in the end as they both placed fourth in overall rankings.

Czech team will come out of Trnávka River

trnavkasobota2017 112The Czech canoe slalom team will be decided on the wild course of the Trnávka River in the Central Czech Republic this weekend (13-14 May). Two races within the 3rd and 4th ČEZ Group Czech Cup has been replaced from Roudnice to Trnávka again due to the recent water and technical situation there.
